ASC Afro Group is on the look for Performance Analysts to join our team on an internship period of six months. This is a remote and non-paying role, but the selected candidate will receive monthly allowance in compensation for internet data and other resources spent while working in the position. Full time and part-time applications will be accepted.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in performance analysis, be enthusiastic about analysis and football, have a professional attitude and as well have good communication and presentation skills. You should be a team player, have the ability to take initiative and truly view yourself as a strong leader. You should also be flexible available to work weekends when required.

This role will involve working closely with the Head of Technical and other members of our performance team at AfroStat.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Help with the development and management of best practice video libraries for use across the analysts department, including assisting in recording of match and training footages
• Undertake match/video analysis, including tagging/coding of matches
• Delivery of the Performance & Analysis Department’s plan/sessions to players/coaches/clubs
• To liaise and work with clients, including players, coaches, teams, to ensure any additional analysis requirement for individuals and teams are met.
• Attend any relevant training requirements
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings
• Ability to code/tag matches
• Assist in any ad-hoc duties when required
• Experience with performance analysis (desirable)
• Coaching experience (desirable)
• Football coaching qualification (desirable)
• Data analysis (desirable)
• Must have attention to detail
