ASC Afro Group is looking for a Research Assistant to join our team on an internship period of six months. This is a remote and non-paying role, but the selected candidate will receive monthly allowance in compensation for internet data and other resources spent while working in the position. Full time and part-time applications will be accepted, and applicants are advised to indicate which option they seek in their application.

The ideal candidate should have a professional attitude, with attention to detail and good communication skills. You should be a team player, have the ability to take initiative and truly view yourself as a strong leader.

This role will involve working closely with the Project Coordinator at ASC.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Must have interest in sport
• Must have, at least, a decent knowledge of the sports industry
• Must be able to work independently and take initiatives
• Attend any relevant training requirements
• Must have good writing and reporting skills
• Must be able to search the internet for relevant information/data
• Able to conduct literature search
• Help with planning and execution of events
• Help in research and data collection activities
• Support other staff and undertake any other assigned tasks
• Data analysis skills (desirable)
• Must have attention to detail
